Battle for Azeroth Cinematic Trailer
Wey worked quite a bit on Anduin Wrynn in the Battle for Azeroth cinematics. First – the Battle for Azeroth cinematic trailer. This trailer showed us the Battle for Lordaeron, a pinnacle moment in the fourth war between the Alliance and the Horde. As leader of the Alliance, Anduin features prominently. This is was an important fight for him, as he had only recently become King, and yet had to lead his army into battle.
This is my Anduin and Shalamayne sword surfacing works for the World of Warcraft Cinematics.
I was the show lead on these projects and my works on this character was texture painting and look development on this character with realistic skin and armor textures, materials and shaders.
All the textures was done in Mari and Photoshop, the materials and render was in Renderman.

Wey also worked on Anduin in the Lost Honor cinematic. You might have noticed Varok Saurfang in the Battle for Azeroth cinematic trailer – he was captured by the Alliance during the Battle for Lordaeron and taken to the Stormwind Stockades. Here, Anduin visited him and, after a conversation in which he implied he needed Saurfang’s help to defeat Sylvanas, left Saurfang’s cell door open, allowing him to escape.
