Amazon Prime’s New Releases Coming in September 2020

An Oscar-winning Judy Garland biopic, Daniel Craig’s first turn as James Bond and a classic Steven Spielberg sci-fi flick will all be available to Amazon Prime subscribers this month.

Movies coming to the service in September 2020 include last year’s Judy, 2006’s Casino Royale and 1977’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind, in addition to a host of other titles.

Other films coming to the streamer include the Will Smith-Ang Lee collaboration Gemini Man (2019), the divorce drama Kramer vs. Kramer (1979), the Sex and the City movies (2008 and 2010) and last year’s animated adaptation of The Addams Family (2019). Robin Williams vehicle The Birdcage (1997), the Dustin Hoffman postgraduate existential classic The Graduate (1967) and the new, voter-suppression documentary All In: The Fight for Democracy (2020) will also arrive in September.

On the television side, Amazon will unveil the latest season of superhero seriesĀ The Boys on Sept. 4 and premiere Utopia, an adaptation of the British series of the same name, created by Gillian Flynn, the Gone Girl author and Widows screenwriter.
